Librarians can support students and faculty during the research process in the following ways:
- Respond to student questions in Canvas discussion boards
- Host classes/workshops at the library for research instruction (using library databases and beyond to find information sources, evaluating sources, etc.)
- Visit your classroom for research instruction
- Meet with individual students or small groups to help with research projects, online or in person
- Create tailored video tutorials, Canvas modules, and other supports for students to review as part of their course
- Provide research help though online chat, email, and phone calls
- Request materials from other libraries to support student research
- Collaborate on assignment design and provide student feedback if applicable
