Paralegal

This guide is designed to help students and faculty access credible resources related to the study of paralegal work, legal secretary work, and pre-law.

Welcome

Did your instructor tell you there is a page specifically for your class?

Were you part of a library instruction section and a librarian showed you a class specific page?

If it's a paralegal course, it should be visible on the class pages sub-menu to the left of this screen.

Not there?  Please email liza.boman@slcc.edu (response within 24 hours Monday through Friday) or message the library through the library chat tool (only available when the Redwood library is open.  Not sure if the library is open?  Click here)

Class pages are designed to work with a specific SLCC course.  Activities and lessons are created and links are curated in collaboration with department instructors.  As the instruction librarian who works with the Gail Miller School of Business, I strive to support student learning. One of the ways I do this is by finding the overlap between my area of expertise, finding resources and information, with their expertise.

Paralegal Studies Program

The Paralegal Studies program at SLCC is "designed for those considering employment as a paralegal, who wish to update their professional development or for those already in the field."
