Weber State University in cooperation with Salt Lake Community College’s University Center offers a Computer Science Bachelor’s degree through extension at Salt Lake Community College.  

This evening program is available to students who have completed certain lower division courses through SLCC’s Computer Science, Computer Information System or CSIS programs.  This is a highly flexible computer science program designed to support students' options in various areas of interest.  A customized degree is available to students who have previously completed another bachelor's program or who have declared a minor.

The Computer Science degree at Salt Lake Community College prepares future software engineers through a hands-on team-centered approach to design, implement and test software using a contemporary object oriented language so they can enter the workforce and/or pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.

The Computer Science degree is designed to seamlessly transfer to Computer Science programs throughout the state of Utah, including Dixie State University, Southern Utah University, University of Utah, Utah State University, Utah Valley University, Weber State University and Westminster College.
