Chemical Models and Structure Drawing Tools

ChemSketch Freeware
ChemSketch is a chemical drawing software with a free download for academic and personal use. Commercial use of ChemSketch is prohibited.
MarvinSketch
A full-featured chemical editor that allows users to draw, edit, publish, render, import, export, and convert between various chemical and graphical file formats.
CheMagic
CheMagic, from Illinois State University, includes simulations and a model builder.
BKChem
This is a free chemical drawing program which runs on multiple platforms. It offers bond-by-bond drawing as well as ready to use templates.

AVON contains thousands of award winning films covering a wide range of subjects including: anthropology, business, counseling, film, health, history, music, and more.
Films On Demand Collection This link opens in a new window
A large collection of streaming videos with academic, vocation, and life-skills content on a wide variety of subjects

Try searching the Library's Films of Demand or AVON video databases for "Chemistry." Access these streaming films using your MySLCC username and password.

Videos on both Films on Demand and AVON have English captions and transcripts available.
