Legal Studies

This guide is designed to help students and faculty access credible resources related to the study of paralegal work, legal secretary work, and pre-law.

LIbrary Databases

Library databases are searchable, curated, organized collections of digital documents such as journal or newspaper articles, research reports and sometimes images.  They tend to be scholarly in nature, are subscription based, and are often focused on a particular discipline or type of material.  For example, ArtStor is primarily made up of images of well-known art while U.S. Newsstream is largely newspaper articles.   They are made searchable by detailed indexing of their contents.
