Basic Guide for the use of SLCC's e-Reserves system for Faculty.

Getting Access and Adding Files

In order to access the e-Reserves page, please visit the library's e-Reserve page (you can do this in a new tab or window, and then follow the instructions on this site while going through the process in the new window).

  1. In the top right hand corner is the Admin Login -> click that and enter your name and password.  If you don't have a login, please contact Rashida Mohammad-Esa at 801.957.4588                                    Admin login link                                                      
  2. Once you are logged in, in the Main Menu (top right corner), click the Course Reserves Page and either add a new course or select your course.  If you have a course already, select Modify Selected.                                                      Course reserves page link  Modify selected link
  3. Now click the Page Management -> then click on Documents & Copyright -> then click on Add Document                           Page management tab link         Documents and copyright link Add document link
  4. At this point type the title in the Title Box -> click Apply -> click Save                                                                        Add title for new document in box                                                                      Save title to proceed to add document
  5. Now, select the document just created and click Modify Selected -> then click Attach Files -> click Transfer File(s) to Server -> click Upload.                                                                                                                                             Attach files to be uploaded
  6. You should receive a message that says: "Success! Your Files have been uploaded to your staging area. You may now close this window, or select additional files to upload."
  7. At this point either close the window or select additional files to upload.  When you are done, the files should now appear in your document.
