Subject Guide Introduction

This guide is designed to help students and faculty access credible resources related to the study of becoming a Medical Assistant.

A Medical Assistant is a clinically trained person who assistants physicians.

At SLCC, students work to get a Certificate of Completion and do some training at an area health facility.

 

WHAT'S HAPPENING IN THE LIBRARY

 ePortfolio Training

Salt Lake Community College students are now required to create General Education ePortfolios.  SLCC Libraries offer training and support for E-Portfolios in the library at each campus. Group training is offered during the first three weeks of the semester at the Taylorsville-Redwood campus. Walk-in training and support is available throughout the semester during all open hours
